Printing a Chorus Roster

Here's how to get a roster of our members! NOTE: this will work best with a computer (not so much on your smartphone)! Also note that birthdays will not be printed on your rosters. That’s a Groupanizer thing and we can’t fix it. :-(

  1. On the Groupanizer menu, click Members.
  2. Once on the Members page, you should first FILTER the list of members to get those names you need.
    • To do that, click the Filters button, which can be found over the teal header above the first name on the list.
    • You can now sort the list by Voice Part or by Role. "Roles" are various titles we use to divide the chorus into groups, such as management team, front row, section leaders, associate members, etc. Every Pride of Portland member has the Member role! To pick a voice part or role, just click in the box, then click on the desired role (FYI, they are only semi-alphabetized!).
    • It is possible to filter by both voice part and role; you can also choose several roles if you want. Not all roles are used in our chorus, so choosing some will not get you any results (unfortunately, we can’t delete the unused roles).
    • Clicking the box that says “Show blocked” will bring up some (but not all) of our past members.
    • As you check the various boxes, the members list will whittle itself down to fit the parameters you have selected.
    • (To UNSELECT your choices, click Filters, then click the X by the roles or voice parts you no longer want.)
  3. Now that you've filtered down the list to the members you need, you can print it by clicking the little printer icon located up by your Profile photo on the top right.
  4. If you want a PDF of the roster, click PDF, which is above the teal header line for the roster names. This will let you save the roster as a PDF.

Getting an editable roster file (CSV)

  1. Above the teal header on the roster page, on the right, you’ll see CSV; click on it and save the document where you can find it again!
    • CSV stands for Comma-Separated Values, and will get you a spreadsheet that can be opened in Excel or other database program. (PDF, another option, is explained in #4 above.)
  2. Open your spreadsheet program. When you're browsing for your recently downloaded file, make sure you're search for All Files or for Text Files as CSV is not a common spreadsheet format.
  3. The roster should now open in your spreadsheet program.
