This year Sibling Rivalry competed in Region 10 on March 18 and placed 7th with a score of 494. We improved our score by 75 points from last year!
UpBeat! quartet recently sang on the stage of the Tower Theatre at the 1st Annual Acappella Festival in Bend. 14 a cappella groups from around the Northwest performed, and the headliners were The House Jacks, the group that Deke Sharon originally formed. It was a fantastic experience and a sharp learning curve, since we each had hand held mics and did a lot of moving around the stage. Very different than your traditional barbershop quarteting. UpBeat! isn’t competing this year, but we’re still having fun doing a variety of performances.
Four on the Floor had their debut performance of their contest songs on Mar. 11, 2016 at the Mountain Park POP performance! Then on Sunday they were excited to be coached by Lisa Myers.
One of High Tide NW's favorite holiday events is singing at the annual open house fundraiser for the Haceta Head Lighthouse Keepers House, now a Victorian style Bed and Breakfast.
Best of all we get to sing Santa Baby to the real deal!

In Cahoots placed 7th at the 2014 Balladtown contest in Forest Grove, winning $325 in prize money. We thoroughly enjoyed singing on all three shows. Our warm-up number was the lovely "Homeward Bound", arranged by Pride's own Janice Wheeler, and we competed with Nancy Bergman's "Bandstand in Central Park".
Happy, happy, In Sequins Quartet! On January 25, 2014, In Sequins sang the national anthem for the Trailblazers! What a wonderful experience we had. The arena was packed with fans...and it didn't hurt that the Blazers won, either!
